I have this feeling <br />I have this indescribable feeling <br />I have this kinda weird feeling <br />I have this feeling inside <br /> <br />Quietly I sit, thoughts just wondering <br />No specific thought I might add <br />And suddenly I smile <br />A elated smile I can’t even explain <br />But this smile, this joy <br />Is sadly not shown <br />I seem to smile within <br />Within my soul <br />Within my heart <br />An inner smile <br /> <br />My heartbeat is racing <br />There’s a tingle in my heart <br />A tingle in my body <br />It seems to have awaken <br />All of my inside, All that I am <br />All that I wish I were <br />This feeling, this wonderful feeling <br />Wants to surface, wants to reach out <br />Wants to lead me... <br />Lead me to a happy place <br />A place we all call our safe haven <br /> <br />But this feeling <br />Sadly only lasts a few <br />I’m trying to figure out...what exactly I was thinking about <br />But nothing comes to mind <br />Maybe I should just let it be <br />And not try so hard <br />And maybe than <br />Maybe than it will come....and stay <br /> <br />When it comes again... <br />I will embrace it <br />With all of my being <br />Fear, doubt...will be unknown <br />I will take hold of it <br />As we both began <br />Began my journey.. <br />Our journey into a new life <br /> <br /> <br />(c) Leasel Martins 2009<br /><br />Lizelle 'Leasel' Martins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/feeling-27/
