Atmosphere above and around <br />Failed to befriend him; <br />So the meteorites stroke his fate. <br /> <br />Flimsy wall of his sordid hut <br />Eased him see around from the bed; <br />So he read his life-each side. <br /> <br />His thatched roof as old as he <br />Foundered combating summer shower <br />So ample nights he spent along pool. <br /> <br /> Yet he smiles. <br /> <br />His Earth-limited to standing his hut <br />Witnessing his interminable misery- <br />Witnessed his parents' demise, <br />Witnessed his other-half's demise <br />Witnessed his only kid's demise. <br />Appreciates his interior might. <br /> <br />Many go his hands and mouth made <br />To draw wine-kill his inner fire; <br />His mind duly denied. <br /> <br />His hands often touched suicide rope <br />Eyes located apt sites for valediction; <br />His mind earnestly denied. <br /> <br />His legs attempted for many times <br />Vacating the hut for anonymous best; <br />Reminiscence stood- paralyzed him. <br /> <br /> Yet he smirks. <br /> <br />He happily cried on seeing <br />Naked flora of late winter <br />Casually anticipating Spring.<br /><br />RUP POKHAREL<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/defeating-double-bind/
