After a surge in popularity with American tourists visiting Italy in the early 20th century, bartenders began to call it by its new name. As a nod to this classic and to the region around Sorrento, Italy, where lemons used to make Luxardo Limoncello are grown, Francesco created the Sorrentino Cocktail. This cocktail recipe is one of many created by Francesco that can be found in a new cocktail book featuring the diverse portfolio of Luxardo products.

Watch on Small Screen: http://www.smallscreennetwork.com/video/784/more-than-maraschino-sorrentino/

Watch More Episodes of Luxardo's More Than Maraschino video series:
Episode 1 - Peruvian Wish Cocktail: http://youtu.be/e1fXfs4UpwM
Episode 2 - Windtalker Cocktail: http://youtu.be/WkWS4TxN_yQ
Episode 3 - Sorrentino Cocktail: http://youtu.be/cgCzmVunR70
Episode 4 - Morlacco Julep: http://youtu.be/g9u8u2_HMMI
Episode 5 - Lady Whisper: http://youtu.be/4z2jLugkt5I
Episode 6 - Last Wish: http://youtu.be/WBdYoWAuR48

Learn more about the Luxardo family and their products: http://www.anchordistilling.com/brands/luxardo

Like Luxardo on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LuxardoUSA

Recipe
1 oz - 30 ml Luxardo Limoncello - http://bit.ly/TGl9IV
1 oz - 30 ml Luxardo Bitter - http://bit.ly/RgUkOK
1 oz - 30 ml Sweet Vermouth
2 oz - 60 ml club soda
sprig of fresh thyme

Instructions
Place the thyme in a tumbler glass and muddle to release the oils.
Add ice and ingredients.
Stir well and serve.
