I want to be your everything <br />The first thought that you have in the morning <br />That makes you smile and know it will be a great day. <br />That which will get you through the day <br />Keeping you going on no matter what you have to face that day <br />Or when you feel that life is too hard and you can’t go on, <br />Let me be the thought that makes you see you can get through anything. <br />To always know that I love you so much <br />Willing to do anything and everything that I can to give you the life you deserve <br />Even though I am not sure how, I believe that I can make it come true. <br />For I have the love that I have for you <br />Unbridled and strong that I would face the world and all its strife for you <br />Just to make sure that everything you want you receive. <br />And the words of my prose to give you that which comes from my heart to you, <br />So that you shall always know where ever you are <br />You are never alone for I am always in your heart when you need me. <br /> <br />I want to be your everything <br />Your passionate lover when you long to release the desires within you <br />Or feel such romance that you had never thought you could ever feel before. <br />The one who you can come to when you feel so much dread and confusion, <br />Being the one to take away the shroud of false illusions and let love’s light in <br />To show you the way the world truly is through the eyes of a poet <br />And help you find your own voice, your own strength that you long for. <br />To be your best friend, there to celebrate with you all your triumphs (even the small ones) , <br />And hold you when you feel such sorrow and pain. <br />I want to be your everything….just like you are to me, <br />To share my love with you <br />For the rest of my life….for all eternity.<br /><br />susan brealey<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-want-to-be-27/
