I feel heavy, <br />blue smoke around me, <br /> playing the blues, <br />but I don't hear the song playing, <br />I wish I could just shut down my brain, turn the off switch, <br />no thought would flow through it, <br />it damages me, <br />racing constantly in circles, these thoughts, <br />about anything and everything, <br />I want to shut it down, <br />ok, maybe I can close my eyes and imagine something wonderful, <br />but I can't, nothing fantastic comes to mind, <br />I don't like feeling this way, <br />staring at the computer, <br />writing what comes to mind, <br />what I feel, <br />I know I have a right to feel this way, <br />don't I? <br />I can't stand days like that, <br />maybe something is missing but I don't know what, <br />my cat smoky, decided to take a trip somewhere, <br />you would love him, <br />he is so smart, I'm not sure if he is a cat, <br />he acts like a dog, <br />he'll come back as soon as he starts getting hungry. <br />well, maybe I put some music on, <br />and get lost in the rhythm. <br />~The blues.<br /><br />Kasia Fedyk<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/blue-122/
