I just thought I could chase the clouds away <br />with just one glance, <br />I truly thought so <br />maybe I could in some different way bring them to me <br />and maybe just once try to read all of the stories they tell <br /> <br />They know me, somehow they do <br />they can read me with just one passing moment <br /> and know all of me <br />all about me <br />how clever of them <br />like milk and honey they will come to the rescue <br />of a hungry soul in search of understanding <br /> <br />When one decides to cry so many more will not fail to fall <br /> and become the rain <br />when they do~ <br />Do you really need an umbrella? tell me, do you? <br />don't you just want to feel their tears to fall upon you <br />with as gentle touch of pure water against your skin <br />showing the love so freely given with every drop <br />until they stop <br /> <br />Can you see me when I tell you this <br />like mirror of your own self <br />in me, a true reflection <br /> <br />So many will write with their own soul <br />so many may see with their own eyes <br />oh yes, so much to express <br />in the milk and honey <br /> <br />Can you chase the clouds with one glance <br />or just maybe bring them close to you <br />for a moment in time.<br /><br />Kasia Fedyk<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/clouds-130/
