eyes staring blankly at the screen <br />ears open to the conversation beyond her world <br />hand slowly squeezing, <br />as the harsh words flow to her. <br />glass shatters, <br />spilling down around the floor by her feet. <br />blood slowly oozing from tiny cuts <br />glass embeded deep in her skin <br />tears streaming down her face <br />blurring the truth <br />words coming from her mouth <br />rage mixing with the harsh words <br />telling the beloved family what actually happened. <br />blood dripping on the floor <br />fingers pointing at the the one called father. <br />setting him straight, bloking his words. <br />love burning deep in her veins with the memory <br />as she brings it all back and shouts in his face <br />no time for a breath <br />she wont let him judge any more. <br />suddenly sobbing, wanting to take back the pain. <br />willing to give it up <br />wanting the father to feel what she feels. <br />making him realize the pain he dug up with his accusing words. <br />jolted awake... <br />reality dawning... <br />real tears now flowing...<br /><br />Nicole Gehrman<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-bottled-up-2/
