...glazing over my life <br />like sheets of ice <br />melting me before pelting me <br />with harrowing insights. <br />peering deep inside myself <br />hearing echoed cries for help <br />and I can not imagine <br />a cavern this empty <br />is densely filled with all the ills to tempt me, <br />immensely still against my will <br />I’m gently going against me. <br />killing away the me that stays <br />until all that remains <br />is the remainder of a stranger <br />stuck in his ways, <br />still stuck in the truth <br />unable to lie, passing by the time <br />by crying <br />laying down, I’m flying now, <br />dying. <br />trapped behind my eyes <br />imprisoned in my mind, <br />my world, my flesh <br />a soul full, whole <br />in an empty chest <br />is all that’s left... <br />and all that’s right <br />is all that’s here <br />in all this night <br />I am all I fear.<br /><br />I write because I have to<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fear-301/
