A sea of charming faces glaring empty eyes <br />A lifeless illusion filed with endless lies <br />It’s all a blur in my mind there is no concentration <br />A million stars in the sky but no constellation <br />Light all around me laughing in my face <br />It knows what I don’t it’s this force i can't face <br />These voices in this mist the emptiness inside <br />Oh how I wish for once I could see through this disguise <br />So i reach out my hand, to touch this luminous flare <br />My hand gets burned I slip away in the end i just don't care <br />i creep back in the corners into my cocoon <br />I'm naked in the sun I'm dreaming on the moon <br />I'm dancing with the wind I'm sleeping in the clouds <br />I'm floating on deceit and blocking out the sounds <br />The truth is my death my endless fall <br />In my castle all alone my mind is my wall <br />The king of my loneliness the joker on my throne <br />With a sea full of faces but I still feel alone<br /><br />Anthony Spiros Mcgilvra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/alone-626/
