pistol to my head <br />finger on the trigger <br />time to eat lead <br />for breakfast lunch and dinner <br />click goes the gun <br />boom goes my brains <br />its not all that fun <br />when you're going insane <br />i fall to the ground <br />blood splattered like rain <br />thud is the sound <br />the usual pain <br />i fall asleep <br />my other dimension <br />I'm in it to deep <br />Ive lost all connections <br />no gun in there <br />no bullet to load <br />just me in the air <br />an endless road <br />in here I'm serene <br />there's room to breath <br />I'm alive in my dreams <br />i never want to leave <br />ignorance is bliss <br />let the world pass me by <br />i doubt ill be missed <br />and i wont care why <br />its too good to last <br />I'm sharply awoken <br />its gone in a flash <br />my hearts still broken <br />the guns in my hand <br />a bullet on the table <br />my demons in command <br />he's slain my angel <br />i try to walk away <br />but all my paths bring me back <br />to this never ending highway <br />this cycle has me trapped <br />i load the gun <br />and replay the scene <br />cuz there's no where to run <br />and i miss my dreams <br />click goes the trigger <br />bang goes my head <br />flowing crimson rivers <br />and things left unsaid <br />i sink into silence <br />its where i belong <br />no need for guidance <br />no need to be strong <br />as soon as its here <br />the moment is gone <br />plunged back into fear <br />and everything wrong <br />back to routine <br />back where it hurts <br />away from my dreams <br />into my hearse <br />cuz whatever i do <br />wherever i go <br />my options are few <br />and there's bullets to load<br /><br />Anthony Spiros Mcgilvra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dream-chaser-3/
