If you were to take me back <br />I will forever never lie <br />no pain will be made, no fights will occur, <br />never again will your eyes fill with that dreadful liquid, <br />never will I come home in that digusting costume of a drunk, <br />never will I yell at you, or make you mad.... <br />......oh how I wish to be able to make these promises... <br />these promises that you have waited for what seems all of life, <br />these promises that at which consequence teared us apart.... <br />these promises I cannot keep, <br />but what can be kept is that I would give my life for one more kiss, <br />that I would give my soul for one more hug, <br />that no obstacle whatsoever will keep me from loving you, <br />that if you leave, my life is well over, <br />that if you leave, nothing will have its color, <br />blue is black and blue will turn red, <br />yellow will be purple and white will be dead <br />no more flowers will there be, <br />along with the birdies in the tree, <br />I would be of most dead, <br />but as long as that makes you.....happy.... <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Copyright © ® Arturo Vargas.
