I wish it would rain, <br />So I could see the sky cry, <br />And hear it sing, <br />It's soft lullaby, <br /> <br />I wish it would snow, <br />And turn the world white, <br />Making me cry, <br />From such a beautiful sight, <br /> <br />I wish it would hail, <br />Nature's fury released, <br />Even though it beats up, <br />Pretty much everything, <br /> <br />I wish the wind would blow, <br />All through the day, <br />Just make sure, <br />That you're not blown away, <br /> <br />I wish the clouds would gather, <br />And cover the sun, <br />Turning the sky gray, <br />Or deep grayish-black, <br /> <br />I wish it would storm, <br />And the thunder would sound, <br />Making the rain, <br />Fall hard to the ground, <br /> <br />I wish many things would happen, <br />Beautiful things I could see, <br />Mostly in nature, <br />But that is just me.<br /><br />Kelly Aragon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-wish-76/
