I feel the sun trickling down my <br />neck, this day's heats puts my <br />mind at a blank, trickling sweat, <br />anger, the fire that builds inside, <br />as strong as the suns violent rays, <br />my back aches my eyes water, <br />my throat rigged with dehydration, <br />exhaustion and sadness are placed <br />on me, i have a weary soul, thou <br />who feels the beating of the sun, feels <br />the anguish of man, turmoil as hot <br />as the day, a fight with oneself to <br />restrain to not induce pain in thyself <br />but instead to open your heart to <br />the wonders of this ever changing <br />world, my body and mind grow as <br />fast as this earths fertile ground. <br />the day proceeds, yet no sign of <br />the calming cool breeze.<br /><br />Chris Tiganescu<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-beating-of-the-sun/
