I hate my life, <br />There were many times I wish I could die. <br />I at times really feel like dying, <br />But I only end up crying. <br /> <br />I hate my life, <br />And every thing (almost everything) in it. <br />Sometimes I just want to end it. <br />To forget all my miseries and sorrows, <br />Don't even bother about seeing another tomorrow. <br /> <br />At times I want to cut myself, <br />It's hard to do but it's like that's only thing that would help. <br />I know I am talking out of vexation. <br />I don't care. <br />I want to hurt the people who hurt me so bad, <br />Make them cry and feel real sad. <br /> <br />I feel so fed up, <br />People from outside would say 'Shut Up! ! ' <br />You don't know what you talking about. <br />But I am not them, <br />And they are not me. <br />So please let me be. <br /> <br />At times I wonder what's my purpose, <br />Is for me to stay on this earth, <br />And basically just hurt, <br />Wait till it gets more worse. <br /> <br />So many things I hate. <br />Living up to so many expectations, <br />Wondering if I'll ever meet them. <br /> <br />Things people say to me it come off as me being dumb. <br />Not like that is what I think of myself. <br /> <br />There are times when I genuinely smile, <br />A blow from reality tells me things ain't right. <br />Maybe just maybe things might go my way, <br />And I'll actually see a brighter day. <br /> <br />Most times I feel so alone, <br />Constantly reminded I've got problems in my own home. <br />I feel so tired I just want to rest my head, <br />Days like these make me feel I'm better off dead! !<br /><br />Anita Khelawan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-hate-62/
