the day she gave herself away <br />she cried like a baby <br />so ashamed of what she became <br />her innocence gone and no repentance came <br />she wasnt strong, she was falling and couldnt hold on. <br />she regretted every minute of it but not one but could she gain back. <br />thinking to fullfill herself she only made a mess of everything else. <br />shes trying to make things right, putting up such a fight. <br />will she give in again? <br />or call on help from a friend? <br />the pressures making her weak, <br />she might finally reach the peak. <br />when the truth comes out, <br />her mom might scream and shout <br />but in all the while, <br />she'd run 500 miles, just to take the pain away. <br />Whatever comes her way, i hope she lifts her head up high anyways <br />and says hey, im going to make it through another day.<br /><br />Mariah Smith<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-dearest-friend-13/
