As I sit here <br />All alone <br />Listening to music <br />Thinking about <br />What the next chapter <br />Is in this life <br />I’m scared to know <br />But I know that <br />Everything will be alright <br />I know this because <br />I have survived many things <br />I know that I am not invincible <br />The lives and experiences <br />Have turned out okay <br />Everything that happens to me <br />Happens for a reason <br />No matter how tragic and weird <br />It may seem to me <br />For this life <br />I will do what I promise <br />I will not let anything stop me <br />For doing what’s right to me <br />I will die if that’s where it leads <br />Me too <br />Everything I have left <br />Will be what I give <br />And I say this once <br />“With or without someone by <br />My side I will accomplish <br />What I feel and see fits <br />Happen and happens right” <br />I will not be forced <br />And I will not allow <br />People to put me down <br />My life <br />Is mine to live <br />And I will live it <br />The way I want too <br />And this is how <br />I want to live <br />My life<br /><br />katelin offord harper<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-life-327/
