Our Grim Future <br />By: Taylor Donnelly <br /> <br />we can not learn from our past <br />now the future seems so grim <br />we are racing along so fast <br />we forget which way we are suppose to go <br />they wage their fingers saying we are to blame <br />I'm sorry i don't have the keys to the castle yet try again <br />if you told us what was coming <br />then why didn't you fix it <br />you are the ones in power <br />you are the one running the show <br />i cant stand when you keep pushing me back in my seat <br />i cant change what isn't mine <br />i cant stop your greed and bad habits <br />you whine but what about me, what of us <br />in the end its us who cant make a fuss <br />we will pay for your sins <br />we will have to pay for the sins of our parents <br />for giving what isn't theirs to give <br />for giving what they don't have <br />i feel doomed and scared <br />this weight so much to bear <br />crushing me <br />i have to hold you up on one hip <br />with a my own on the other <br />we cant learn for our past now the futures grim<br /><br />Taylor P.
