Everyone knows the way there <br />Rarely do any go in <br />They say that if you care <br />You'll just go around then <br />But if you're interested in discovery <br />Just follow the sounds of fear <br />And the way to all your needs <br />Will finally be clear <br />Avoid it if you're weak of heart <br />Because the growth is thick <br />Even from the start <br />You won't see the sun a lick <br />The howls of hungry beast <br />Fill every empty space <br />To them you're the meal <br />They all just want to taste <br />When you walk among the trees <br />There is no love for you <br />The lost are crying their tears <br />You see the trees don't want you through <br />They are there to protect the secrets <br />The world asks for but is afraid of <br />The answers are always bleakest <br />When they're not from above <br />I'll tell you many unwilling enter <br />However, without purpose <br />They never make it to the center <br />What happens to them no one knows <br />Why then do I suggest you go? <br />It's awfully nice to get your prize <br />When in paradise you build your home <br />There's only one way back <br />It's through the Forest of The Unknown<br /><br />Brandon Owens<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/forest-of-the-unknown/
