There are those who believe <br />ridicule sarcasm argument <br />loud dominating discourse <br />designed to intimidate <br /> <br />are paramount <br />to achieving their goals <br />their dark agenda <br />this is a grave fault <br /> <br />critical matters of severity <br />are best severed <br />by a diplomacy <br />of respect courtesy patience <br /> <br />acknowledging <br />attempting to understand <br />all complexities <br />of conflict problems <br /> <br />did you never <br />think to stop <br />(to listen? <br />to learn?) <br /> <br /> <br />Continued disagreement <br />may result in atrocities <br />war mistaken diplomacy <br />by other more aggressive means. <br /> <br />Do we really <br />want to pay this price <br />spilling the blood <br />of vibrant youthful sons? <br /> <br /> <br />A blood sacrifice <br />to ransom our souls <br />and spiritual guidance <br />was painfully given <br /> <br />two thousand <br />years ago. <br />Many cultures <br />great thinkers <br /> <br />before and after have constantly <br />espoused this same message <br />across centuries of violent upheavals <br />but still you will hear listen not. <br /> <br />Blessed are the Peacemakers <br />for they shall <br />finally inherit <br />a new earth <br /> <br />after darker souls <br />have destroyed <br />the old earth <br />with hate bigotry <br /> <br />a simple recipe <br />for peace <br />written in noodle <br />cooking time! <br /> <br /> <br />Copyright © Terence George Craddock<br /><br />Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/blessed-are-the-peacemakers-3/
