Natural mystics, understand
Everything has a reason
An origin,
Often related to the powers of the time
Emotionally charged
To control the minds of the masses

The mindless mass,
Who's absolutely devoted
Subconsciously
In tune to even the most minute
Perversions of knowledge,

Assisting the emergence of chaos
Law without order
Re-ordered to fit their purpose
For their own personal gain
Whatever fits in their purses

Often causing communal pain
But never in the communities from where the power came
Understand it's a political game,
So what's needed is a pivotal change
In the direction of thought
To combat the perceptions of naught

But there's a huge interference
Most do not think for themselves
Their imagination rusts on the shelves of self-denial
Where fabrications run wild
And truth, is utterly incomprehensible

Until ignorance reaches its pinnacle
And those with sense become cynical
And the masses are trapped in perennial bondage
I truly regret
Natural mystics don't understand
The nature of the threat

Darrin McMiller Jr.

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nature-of-the-threat-the/
