With a skit to scoot I had to scat. <br />Don't want to be bothered, <br />To stay where I'm not wanted at. <br /> <br />Even my days sleeping on the door mat, <br />Is a life threatening challenge... <br />If I should try to sneak back. <br /> <br />And for a cat replaced by a dog... <br />Why am I attracted, <br />To attempt getting into the sack with that? <br /> <br />When there are other cats, <br />Willing to teach me to use my eyes... <br />To get picked up! <br /> <br />A purring with a soft 'meow' these days, <br />Just does not work! <br />And I remember when being a Tabby, <br />Was the rage. <br /> <br />Today? <br />People will settle for a mongrel. <br />House broken or not. <br />And I am a full fledged 'intelligent' Tabby.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
