Was she left out in the middle of the night alone? <br />with not a kiss, not a hug. <br />The rain fell like god broke his promise, <br />and the world would flood. <br />She drifted through the water, <br />like a letter lost at sea. <br />Drowning in her sorrows; <br />A storm hit with intensity. <br />It seemed like it was 100 Mph, <br />and turned into a hurricane. <br />And she never cries now, she breaths it all in, <br />all at once. <br />And she never can forget the pain anymore, <br />alone she stood out on her own, <br />out in the pouring rain, with not a soul to hold. <br />Not a single kiss.. <br />No body noticed the flash flood warnings. <br />They all fled down stream, not noticing.<br /><br />Kirsten Leaver<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/left-alone-25/
