You have a way of turning my world <br />from black and white to gray <br />never to know that one day <br />you would be everything <br />but gone in a flash of light <br />never to be seen again <br />to know the truth but believe the lies <br />not to know you were the one <br />that made me cry. <br /> <br />As your name rolls off my tounge <br />it gently fades into the background <br />the pain is like a ghost <br />you can feel its present <br />but never really see it. <br /> <br />Moving on is always in my mind <br />but the fear on rejection always covers it <br />knowing that i will never really <br />love someone quite like you <br />wanting to be in your arms again <br />always brings me back to you. <br /> <br />But strike without gain <br />i cant take the pain <br />finding someone that truely loves me <br />is all i want anymore. <br />as a tear travels down my cheek <br />i find the strength to stand <br />and to know that i can be loved again.<br /><br />Ashley Mae Manning<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pain-609/
