I wish to go from here <br />To a place near the woods <br />For from the sly world <br />I shall make a cottage <br />Near the beautiful lake <br />Where the sun shines <br />With all its glory <br />Where the moolight covers the darkness <br />With it's white cloak <br />Where cricket sing <br />to invite <br />Their allies for the same <br />Where I shall pray to God <br />Day and night <br />In the day, I shall go in the forest <br />To collect the wood <br />And return as the day departs <br />With the pile of woods on my shoulder <br />I shall rest near the lake <br />Recounting my days in the world <br />And I will atone for my sins <br />By offering more and more <br />Prayers to Almighty <br />I will despise all wordly luxuries <br />And thank Nature for Her blessings <br />My encounter with Nature will be pleasant <br />As I will take Her as my patron <br />I shall never harm Her <br />And one day in Her lap <br />I will say a final 'Good Bye' <br />To this callous world.<br /><br />Mohammad Akmal Nazir<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-wish-62/
