My dear sparrow please forgive me <br />I have cut branches of your haunt tree. <br />You come daily in the morning and noon <br />Your presence is no less than a boon. <br />Your chirping more melodious than flute <br />Though it seems filled with sharp dispute. <br />You know winter is coming so quickly <br />Without sunshine we feel so sickly. <br />You know man is selfish by nature <br />No care to be made for other creature . <br />Money has made man blind to beauties <br />Except one he knows no duties. <br />Ah! trees are a taboo in modern houses <br />But parlors are demand of new spouses. <br />Birds and plants can't live with busy man <br />He has channels, scents and blowy fan. <br />But my sparrow I am really so sad <br />Breaking hearts is no doubt very bad. <br />Man has broken Nature's innocent heart <br />No doubt awry has become Life's cart. <br />Dear sparrow I love you, respect you <br />With heavy heart I request you. <br />I request you to forgive me <br />I have cut branches of my tree.<br /><br />Prof Niamat Ali Murtazai<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sorry-sparrow/
