The storm it is raging. <br />My life inside out. <br />This is when you work best. <br />I do not have doubt. <br /> <br />You can calm the waters. <br />The mountains you'll move. <br />For You are The One. <br />You have nothing to prove. <br /> <br />It looks like it's magic. <br />That I don't understand. <br />The feats you accomplish. <br />With the holes in your hands. <br /> <br />From the east to the west. <br />Is how far you cast sin. <br />So my old world will die, <br />And Your new one begins. <br /> <br />I found it hard to believe, <br />In a father unseen. <br />For the one that I had. <br />He was always so mean. <br /> <br />So how could you love me? <br />I was really a mess. <br />I asked for Your help. <br />And you replied “Yes”. <br /> <br />You showed me my errors <br />Told me of my wrongs <br />Yet In spite of these things <br />I still belonged <br /> <br />I'm a part of Your flock. <br />This sheep went astray. <br />But You knew I'd return. <br />To the Shepherd one day. <br /> <br />Your love is unreal. <br />Unlike anything I've seen. <br />Loving me regardless, <br />Of the person I'd been. <br /> <br />I know I'm not worthy. <br />But You loved me so much. <br />My life was so empty. <br />Til my heart you did touch. <br /> <br />You took my shortcomings. <br />You threw them away. <br />I had the debt. <br />It was You that did pay. <br /> <br />I cannot imagine. <br />How much you gave. <br />The pain you endured. <br />So I could be saved. <br /> <br />So forever I'm thankful. <br />For Your promise You kept. <br />You are my savior. <br />This is what I accept. <br /> <br />On my path I continue, <br />With You as my guide. <br />To me never again, <br />Will You be denied.<br /><br />Ryan Lee Morris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/unmovable-love/
