I want to see the night sky from Bethlehem <br />and look at that bright star once again. <br />I want to wet my head in the River Jordan <br />at the place where baptisms were done. <br /> <br />I would like to swim in the Sea of Galilee <br />where the fishers of men used to be. <br />I would like to breathe the air at Gethsemane <br />and visualise the scenes from history. <br /> <br />I would like to feel my heart beat at Calvary <br />where Christ was crucified for humanity. <br />Visit Jerusalem and all its holy places <br />and see the joy on everyone’s faces.<br /><br />Orlando Belo<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-holy-land-2/
