Her face is printed in my mind in hesitation, <br />Always before the dawn, always before the noon. <br />In a sleepless wonder it lingers, <br />Like a stronger ember whispers <br />Sweet words of love but agony <br />Haunts like an idle ghost <br />That wants to be the host <br />Of love's pain.
