So, what happens if the sun, <br />no longer appear in your eyes but so he pretends. <br />What if you're not the one, <br />and you're sure of that with the messages he sends. <br />Then you look inside your self, <br />and simply ask, have i done enough? <br />I can't be abandoned on some shelf, <br />or ever be a distant memory of some love. <br />That's why you waited so long, <br />and ran at his direction once you met. <br />You knew this is where you belong, <br />the only mistake that you'll never regret. <br />And you remind your self it's a mistake, <br />every time you drown in his smile and surrender. <br />You've forgotten but once your heart break, <br />you cry saying you should've been a better defender. <br />You suddenly realise you give your heart away, <br />and maybe he won't love you the same way still. <br />You just wish well for the next day, <br />but please don't lie any more, days are from hell. <br />When once the world revolved around you, <br />and once your voice was every thing and now not. <br />You used to scream and he used to calm you, <br />and now scream all you want and silence is what he got. <br />Nothing is the same any more.... nothing is.....<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nothing-is-the-same-anymore/
