Let me not pen the pain of sadness <br />Not say what made me stay away <br />I would rather be in cheerful face <br />Forget tears of the bygone day. <br /> <br />Last few days I was like shelter less <br />A shelter isn’t a mere roof on your head <br />Home beyond brick is a heartfelt address <br />Not in concrete but of love made. <br />Once more I knew it really had no redress <br />Even the best of all else isn’t any best <br />Home becomes a mere void without her grace <br />A lifeless hollow, an abandoned nest! <br /> <br />This morn I found in a bowl of my ceiling lamp <br />On gathered twigs sat a mother dove <br />She has made there a blissful camp <br />To see the fruition of her love! <br /> <br />Sunshine I felt deep in my mind <br />She must have her shelter all the way <br />With this the dark clouds I left behind <br />Retrieved my nest on a revealing day!<br /><br />Pradip Chattopadhyay<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/where-love-shelters/
