Are all Poets lonely people <br />Or do lonely people become Poets <br />I've said it before we hide behinds keyboards <br />But who do we protect the poet or the lonely person. <br /> <br />We see an event a tragedy but see it deeper <br />Feel it deeper even though we are not connected <br />We are spiritually connected to events <br />Sometimes stronger than other things. <br /> <br />A ship that sinks might not pique our poetic mind <br />But miners in Italy trapped <br />In the blackness of the earth awaiting they know no what <br />Stirs our imagination to the nth degree. <br /> <br />This was just going to be an interesting four liner <br />For entertainment but is slowly becoming a sonnet <br />I just wonder how many of us Poets agree with the sentiment <br />Or do others approach it from a different angle to be on it.<br /><br />Craig Anderson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/calling-all-poets/
