'Not Just Yet' <br />Sometimes I feel I'm running on empty <br />my heart has given all it can give, <br />it has been abused so many times before <br />at times I wonder how it still lives, <br />part of me would like to try love again <br />because there's so much I really miss, <br />but as soon as I feel I'm ready to commit <br />I realize my fears outweigh the risks, <br />so then I creep back into my little shell <br />and put my heart safely in it's cage, <br />I know I'll eventually give in one day <br />but right now I'm just too afraid!<br /><br />Bernard Snyder<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/not-just-yet-2/
