My friend walked through the woods, <br />and this is what he saw. <br /> <br />He saw a road with many paths to turn, <br />paths that lead to a dead end. <br />He saw plenty dead trees with wood to burn, <br />who's branches cannot bend. <br />He saw an old abandon cabin, <br />with a torn and tattered roof, <br />not a place he would stay in. <br />just put in some powder, light it, and poof. <br /> <br />This is what i see. <br /> <br />I see a forest who's trees were once green, <br />just waiting for an adventure to begin. <br />I see a road with many choices in between, <br />and a cave a dragon could sleep in. <br />I see a river ware fish once teemed, <br />and a comfy cabin on its bank. <br />I see the wooden hands of a mighty beast, <br />who was trapped in the mud and sank. <br />And i see a berry bush hosting a mighty feast. <br />for you, your friends, and for me. <br /> <br />Now you know our stories, <br />tell me what you would see. <br />Is it a journey at its dying end? <br />Or is the journey about to begin?<br /><br />Poet of the River<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/what-do-you-see-thought/
