Our journey's duration into the darkness is dependent on our desire to walk into the light once again: <br /> <br />Ref: Arcanum of Dour Consequence <br /> <br />DOR,012611 <br /> <br />Surmount the Night <br /> <br /> As the newborn darkness transitions into shadow, my words fall upon deaf ears. My eyes reach out desperately into the dark trying to capture what's left of the light from the growing nothingness. <br /> <br /> An inauspicious presence surrounds me and my heart pounds in my chest. I reassure <br />myself, it's only the dark, the void of the night. <br /> <br /> As I fastinate within the unkindled rooms searching for a way out, no exit felt. I am confined in the void of the night. <br /> <br /> The prison that I'm in dissipates with daybreak and as I awake, shaking, in a pool of cold sweat.
