Journeys are your life, <br />They show you where to go, <br />They tell you how to lead your life, <br />To teach you what you know, <br /> <br />But they always split, <br />You always have a choice, <br />So you take one look back, <br />And just hear the noise, <br /> <br />The hunger of your heart, <br />Searching as its soul begins to bleed, <br />Trying to find a common ground, <br />To finally plant its seed, <br /> <br />Only one path will work, <br />Where this seed will grow, <br />But it has been so long now, <br />And nothing has started to show, <br /> <br />I feel only one thing, <br />I took a wrong turn, <br />The pain is starting to flare, <br />And I am starting to burn, <br /> <br />I planted my seed. <br />Just to find out one thing, <br />I fell onto the wrong path, <br />And now…I’m suffering.<br /><br />Joshua Hillard<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/seed-18/
