On my way to the football ground <br />I spotted a solitary Magpie <br />then a Black cat crossed my path <br />and it gave me the Evil Eye. <br />That morning a Bat flew into my home <br />which made me spill salt onto the floor <br />on my out I walked under a ladder <br />and the Horseshoe was upturned on the door. <br />This season I've broken several mirrors <br />opened up umbrellas indoors as well <br />stepped on many cracks on pavements <br />and had dreams about Ravens and Hell. <br />But surely this is just silly superstition <br />and on my club I haven't laid a curse? <br />But then again it may explain why this season <br />my football team have gone from bad to worse!<br /><br />Kevin Halls<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-must-have-broken-too-many-mirrors/
