Shops packed <br />stress levels high <br />presents to get <br />prices sky high. <br />Kids wanting this <br />and asking for that <br />don't forget the Dog <br />and Tiddles the Cat. <br />Aftershave and Perfume <br />socks for the Feet <br />they'll do nicely <br />for old Uncle Pete. <br />Hoping for Snow <br />so the kids can play <br />but it usually rains <br />the whole of the day. <br />Christmas is for Children <br />is what we like to say <br />but what a palaver <br />all for just one day. <br />Still it's only once a year <br />and an excuse to get fat <br />so eat, drink, and be merry, <br />and give thanks to God for that!<br /><br />Kevin Halls<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/it-s-on-it-s-way-again/
