i would like to pray <br />a silent prayer <br />like a river <br />in a peaceful forest <br />i like to pray <br />with nature around <br />as i see the sky <br />it makes me think <br />what He looks like <br />i like to pray <br />with folding hands <br />catching one quiet breath <br />and closing two eyes <br />i like to pray <br />a silent prayer <br />with sweet melody <br />asking God to answer <br />oh! how glad i will be <br />if this prayer will come! <br />i would like to tell God <br />for peace and unity <br />to govern nations <br />with great humility <br />and loving a friend <br />who needs comfort <br />when tears flood <br />but with someone hugging <br />i love to pray <br />to people around <br />seeking for happiness, <br />that they will be glad <br />in seeking real joy <br />to the poor in thoughts <br />that they may learn <br />and may wise people share <br />their crowns of intelligence <br />to the families <br />who need help- <br />i pray to God <br />help them to love <br />and feel beloved <br />that they may never be <br />tired of being together <br />with one faith <br />the world i wish <br />no hurricanes will happen <br />and storms will vanish away <br />to the needy <br />and the rich who need riches <br />to find real treasure <br />with peace and no discrimination <br />to save a little robin <br />from the rages of the storm <br />how lucky is this bird <br />to see its mommy again <br />to people loosing hope <br />they will be comforted <br />and will have enough strength <br />to face Your given obstacles <br />oh! how happy will i be <br />if all these begin! <br />oh Heavenly Father <br />begin it with me.<br /><br />Anthony John Oliveros<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-prayer-66/
