Defining the limits of the sky. <br />Is it light of the sun that bends? <br />Is it the air that moves in currents of the wind? <br />Is it molecules combining and separating? <br />In what bounds is it clasped? <br />By what jaws has it been grasped? <br />Or is it truly endless? <br />Matter all large and small. <br />A universe, a planet, a comet, a moon, depictions, descriptions. <br />Which ones will suffice? <br />Which ones will never do? <br />Who is to decide? <br />Who is to preside? <br />A heavenly portrait. <br />Is it simply what the eyes see? <br />Going beyond the veil of secrecy. <br />What is that we hold to account? <br />All these worldly doubts. <br />An endless infinite definite pre-existing place. <br />It was before I got here. <br />And it will be still long after I'm gone. <br />Who am I to judge the nature of others views. <br />For I very well could be wrong to. <br />With limited time, and limited understanding we try to explain the impossibility of our very own knowing.<br /><br />Ace Of Black Hearts<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/limits-not-known/
