I've seen her silhouette,
the wind and sun reveal to me,
The memory in my mind is set,
shimmering transparent sundress.
The breeze and light in harmony
expose flowing curves and mounds.
Stretching to her limits, showing the job at hand;
new points of interest found.
Morals in hand, I know forbid me.
Still not willing to look away,
Swollen chest and ego command,
this is not the day.
And then awkward retreat,
slow embarrassment for obvious reason.
A punishment of sort,
Gods' reminder that I am a man.
Perhaps another day,
battles lost.
To return and fight another time,
forcing my eyes to follow my feet.
I've seen her silhouette

Biff McGuire

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-ve-seen-her-silhouette/
