The sun masked in the roar <br />of the Atlantic Ocean, <br />whiles. <br />Freedom and I were discussing beeps: <br /> <br />“Beeps alarms us out of bed, ” <br />I said. <br />But they are a discomfort sometimes <br />Joe bust out laughing and kicking <br />The shore sand mixed with water. <br /> <br />“Pipipi-piipi, Pipipi-piipi” <br /> <br />A message tone interrupted, <br />On the screen, my phone's <br />Battery is a bar to bow. <br /> <br />The message read <br /> <br />“It comes in diverse names; <br />Cyclone, Hurricane, <br />Immense terror-it's a typhoon. <br /> <br />Menace on this side… <br />The babble and jumbles of the tide <br />Is immeasurable. <br />Our Sight and Sound are blared with <br />Twinkling lightening and growling thunder, <br /> <br />We're uncertain, it's unbelievable… <br /> <br />“Piii! ” <br />A beep: <br />Warning my battery is low <br />“Poof ” <br />Blackout; <br />darkness enveloped both our worlds.<br /><br />Aziz Baako<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/beeps/
