If anyone asks what's inside my heart, <br />I will write the name -'Bangladesh'. <br />This love-story smells like the soil- <br />forever absorbed in the sweet rosy scent. <br />Here the rivers flow on with the overflowing love <br />of my spell-bound heart from ages to ages. <br /> <br />Upon the breast of the Padma <br />the boat of sun-shine moves on forever, <br />and the silvery hair of the dancing waves forever flows on- <br />I'd like to draw such comparision. <br /> <br />In love or in hatred I quench my thirst <br />drinking upto my soul the necter of the Meghna, <br />rich as the age-old sky they are- <br />within my heart's land. <br /> <br />In the name of God, I can say - <br />Bangladesh is mine, ya she is mine and mine only, <br />In the name of my deepest love I can say - <br />she belongs only to me. <br />Look at the blue sky, <br />that's the reflection of my heart's colour. <br />When my love melts down as dew-drops, <br />all the grasses of the world take the shower in them. <br /> <br />They whose hearts held fiftysix thousand green spheres- <br />they are the martyrs, <br />at the cost of blood they have bought this ever-green land. <br />Some monsters now want to loot their dream-land, <br />time has come to hit them back. <br /> <br />Take a look into my heart once again, <br />just have one more look- <br />see my Bangladesh has flourished <br />beyond the space of the universe. <br />Today I'ill spread around <br />the endless green of my flag from sky to sky.<br /><br />Nazmul Haque<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-fulfilled-bangladesh/
