Do you hear voices in the back of your day telling you to wait? <br />Can you feel the moving shadows swaying in your wake? <br />Do you beleive all living things must die a painful death? <br />Or is death a guarateed advertisment of peace? <br />Can you see the dying faces painted in our dawn? <br />And will the moon still watch over us after the silence of the storm? <br />Will the mountains stand as strong as they have done for years? <br />Will the birds be here and the innocence forgetting all their fears? <br />When it rains we know our time has finally come at last, <br />And all the peace and all the love will shine on through the dust. <br />forgotten memories from all around will flutter in a song, <br />We will remember the words of yesterday and understand the wrong. <br />We'll write our future from the sun because the sun will never end, <br />And the rays of light will hide the blood drawn from my dying pen:<br /><br />Paul J Price<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/only-time-will-tell-20/
