I saw a middle aged man of forty, <br />Standing near the parapet wall dirty! <br /> <br />Standing with one leg, the other leg missing, <br />Shouting repeatedly I am a beggar boy, begging! <br /> <br />Sorrow on the face whenever people seeing, <br />Otherwise his face was frequently smiling! <br /> <br />A few persons offered coins on the cloth spread, <br />One or two persons stopped for a while, inquired! <br /> <br />With curiosity one naughty boy asked the reason <br />For loss of one leg; what he will do during rainy season! <br /> <br />Another elderly person felt pity on him, <br />Asked what he will do if he gets pain! <br /> <br />The beggar said, ‘I will change the leg’ and showed, <br />The elderly person swooned seeing what he did!<br /><br />Dr.V.K.
