Last week one fine evening, <br />It was a rainy day, but evening! <br /> <br />It was about 5 o’ clock, <br />The sky was getting dark! <br /> <br />The dark clouds in the sky were hovering, <br />The rain was likely to pour with lightning! <br /> <br />I wanted to go out for giving books for binding! <br />The cloud till I return shouldn't be raining! <br /> <br />I thought of a poem Poet Thiruvalluvar <br />Saying “Virtuous woman who is faithful <br /> <br />To the spouse and dutiful <br />May not even pray the almighty; <br /> <br />“But, If she says, Oh’ Rain! <br />You must pour, it will rain! ” <br /> <br />I thought why not I use the same powers, <br />To stop the rain till I return, just for two hours! <br /> <br />My wife prayed and the rain stopped, <br />the prayer didn't go in vain! <br /> <br />The rain God was very courteous! <br />I wanted to try again the same trick with pious! <br /> <br />Next week, the very same evening, <br />I wanted to go for a concert happening! <br /> <br />I asked my wife to pray Rain God <br />For not raining till I return, that may be good! <br /> <br />She prayed and I attended concert at six, <br />Returned home 9 P.M in heavy rain; hence I vex! <br /> <br />My wife was very much worried, <br />She asked Rain God, ‘What happened? ’ <br /> <br />He said, ‘Sorry devotee, I was very busy! <br />I was proceeding for discussion with Lord Siva, in hurry!
