When I am all alone and all is quiet my mind drifts slowly away. <br />Walking the halls of my past, memories fill my tired worn flask. <br />Alone with my thoughts, the wrongs and rights, places a child once played. <br />I remember the dream's of a young lass, searching for love that will long last. <br />Found by time and trapped by age, reading from a book missing more than one page. <br />Old wound's time has healed, weigh heavy on my well earned scares <br />Memories of laughter some enraged, of following the course through life's long stage. <br />They haunt me now my future revealed and on my final day, each written in the stars. <br />Brought my memories they are all thats left, my soul has shed its skin. <br />A lifetime of passion, pain washed by tears.
