I don't eat to make myself thin, <br />I wear dark clothes and cut my skin, <br />I pretend to be someone I'm not, <br />Just to make you happy. <br /> <br />I'm constintly thinking of suicide, <br />I'm trying my best to hide, <br />All of these scars and bruises, <br />Away from everyone. <br /> <br />I dye my hair and act different, <br />I try to be all perfect, <br />But of course I'm not, <br />I want to be more like you. <br /> <br />Flawless and perfect, <br />But I'm just too different, <br />I can't be someone else anymore, <br />I have to be me. <br /> <br />I'm not weak anymore, <br />I'm stronger than before, <br />I'm me again, <br />And I'm back to who I am.<br /><br />Alicia Meyers<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/different-76/
