Once I stood tall and straight with muscles flexible and strong. <br />My movement through space and time was strong and graceful. <br />My spirit soared like a bird in flight. My strength was everlasting. <br />Now I fade. <br /> <br />Once my vision was clear, unquestioned, and I could see, whatever. <br />I traveled unafraid through rain, and fog and bright light and night. <br />Great vision was my forte. I could see when most could not. <br />Now I fade. <br /> <br />I had memory, and memories to share, impressive and photographic. <br />Nothing was too complicated for me to grasp after quick study. <br />I consumed information merely to place it at my beck and call. <br />Now I fade. <br /> <br />Once I was the love of a life I shared. Nothing came before me save God. <br />I was magnificent and heroic and knew it would be forever. I stood full <br />of the high hopes of potential. It is dwindling. Much comes before me. <br />Now I fade. <br /> <br />Once I believed that all I had would be mine to tap forever as the need arose. <br />I find that as much as I would like to maintain the peak of my universal <br />Life energy, I am not allowed to keep the gifts.
