It's a pleasure... <br />Walking down, down <br />the memory lane, <br />peeping thru the <br />windows and watch <br />the wide sky, and <br />enjoy the windy <br />days, sunshine, rain <br />and cloud, the meadows <br />and its kissing point <br />where the blue merges <br />with it, in boundless <br />boundary! Everything. <br />My dead birdie Chippu <br />is alive and singing <br />song in the cage! <br />The Tamarind, Mango, Coconut <br />Guava trees haven't been <br />cut yet, and the drops <br />of Sun ray is being <br />filtered thru the <br />leafy sky......... <br />Grandma is keeping <br />pickle-jars under <br />sun, to keep it away <br />from fungus and worms! <br />rainbow-shouldered <br />Chanticleer is playing <br />with his friends! <br />Simon, the gardener <br />watering the rose plants, <br />takes the seeds of <br />sun-flower to keep <br />them to the store-house. <br />Mom is much young, <br />smilingly holding <br />the tasks of busy day. <br />My dad is in a meeting. <br />**********$***************** <br />Going down the memory lane <br />I watch this morning, <br />the same morning, <br />bright and shinning <br />with the freshness <br />of a universal day. <br />So many mornings <br />passed and will be, <br />but, only one morning <br />painted in the canvas, <br />will never fade away! <br />The morning of my <br />never-fading childhood! !<br /><br />Neela Nath<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/down-27/
