Never has the light come so bright
This illuminate have I not seen so near
Coldly the fire of light consumes my soul
Springing forth like a morning glory
So clearly,
The shadow now seen from the rear
In darkness that I walked, I find rest
The morning dew leaves my soul refreshed, void of drench
Fear now, resides at arms length
As I step into the eclipse of the soul
For a moment I see the light halfing on my soul
So fast it returns before my eyes that my heart suffers no break but it shatters
The pieces has no start.
Right before my eyes the hope for a changing moment of light
turns to the dark
A torment I open my eyes now not to' even in the sun
back to what it used to be before.

yewande adedokun

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/eclipse-of-the-soul/
